We’re looking for a brewer to join our brewery, with operator duties for our Brewing, Cellar, and Processing team. Are you passionate about brewing beer? Then read on!
You’ll be responsible for brewing distinctive beers with maximum reliability, minimal waste, and consistent quality. You’ll not only monitor the process but also elevate it by actively contributing to improvements in technology, flavor, efficiency, and equipment management. You’ll ensure that our standards are not only maintained but also refined – with a passion for the craft and an eye for detail.
Beat boring, that’s our motto. Everything that comes out of our kettle is therefore delightfully unexpected and incredibly delicious.
Jopen by Name. Open by Nature.
At Jopen, we brew with an open mind and an insatiable curiosity for the new and the next. No idea, taste, aroma, ingredient, or brewing method is too crazy to try. When others say why, we say why not? From a deliciously hoppy IPA to an unorthodox Caramel Seasalt Brownie Stout. And everything in between.
Our beers are praised for their quality and regularly win awards, both nationally and internationally. In addition to the Jopenkerk, we have also had a second, ultra-modern brewery in the Waarderpolder district of Haarlem since 2015. This allows us to meet the ever-increasing demand. With this expansion, Jopen is fully prepared for the future.
At Jopen, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We embrace variety and believe that everyone has a curiosity. That’s why we continuously challenge consumers to discover modern and surprising flavors and try something new. Whoever you are, “there’s an exceptional Jopen craft beer out there with your name on it.” You just have to be a little open-minded.
What else can you expect from us? We’d like to quote David Bowie: “I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.”
