We believe that being open beats boring. And that there’s an exceptional craft beer out there with your name on it. Everyone has a craft side. There is always a new beer to craft. We’re never done exploring. We’ll try anything once.

INSTANT KRUSH (CHAPTER 1)

Hoog Gisting

Together with our Swiss friends from WhiteFrontier, we brewed this Westcoast IPA. Just one hop, Krush from Yakima Valley, doing all the heavy lifting. Expect bright notes of stone fruit, citrus and berries, wrapped in that crisp, classic bitterness we all love. The perfect beer to kick off the new year.

For this chapter, we joined forces with our friends at WhiteFrontier. We stood side by side at a festival in Turin, struck up a conversation, and knew: this just felt right. They’ve previously brewed a single-hop Krush, so this is an Instant Krush, with an experienced hand on board.

OUR FRIENDS FROM WHITEFRONTIER

WhiteFrontier is a craft brewery based in Martigny, in the Valais region of Switzerland. They create bold, flavour‑driven beers designed to inspire, celebrate and bring people together, especially those who push their limits and live life to the fullest.

More than just brewing great beer, WhiteFrontier stands for a mindset: “Craft Your Life,” encouraging people to explore new sensations, share memorable moments, and dream big.

Their taproom in Martigny features over 20 beers on tap and a large beer garden, where visitors can enjoy fresh brews right where they’re made. They also offer brewery tours, tasting workshops and seasonal special releases, all rooted in creativity, quality and community spirit.

FADE INTO DARKNESS (CHAPTER 2)

Fade Into Darkness is all about contrast. Bold and intense in colour, yet clean and balanced in every sip. This Schwarzbier brings depth and clarity, making it impossible to put down.

We brewed it with our German friends from Kundmüller (Weiherer Bier), master of classic German styles. Together, we stayed true to our Chapters spirit: crafting something adventurous while honoring tradition.

But don’t be fooled by the dark appearance… This beer flows with the effortless ease of a classic lager. Rich notes of coffee, chocolate and caramel meet subtle hints of dried plums and raisins, all finishing crisp and refreshing.

REELIN’ IN THE YEAST (CHAPTER 3)

For the third edition of (J)OPEN CHAPTERS 2026, we headed north. Far north. Together with our Norwegian friends at Nøgne Ø, we brewed a West Coast Double IPA. As one of Norway’s craft beer pioneers we already knew this one was going to be special. Packed with modern hops, this beer brings a huge fruity punch wrapped in bold bitterness. Perfectly balanced, yet full of character to keep surprising.
